1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Simple BTC Ticker app for iPhone, Apple Watch, Android and Wear OS provided by youcloud GmbH (the “App”). It explains what information is processed when you use the App and how your privacy is protected.
It does not apply to Apple’s App Store, Google Play, operating systems, devices, or independent third-party services. Their respective privacy policies apply.

3. Collection of personal data
The App requires no account and creates no personal profiles. It uses no advertising, analytics services, cross-app tracking, or third-party advertising identifiers.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, precise location, health data, payment information, or other identifying details.
4. How the App works
Public information. The App connects to the internet only when needed to retrieve and display publicly available price and Bitcoin network information. youcloud does not use these requests to identify people, create profiles, or track activity across apps or websites.
The App, widgets, complications, and Wear OS Tiles retrieve public Bitcoin data over HTTPS from the youcloud API. This processes connection data necessary for communication, such as the IP address. The selected currency is not sent to the API as a personal preference. Updates may also run in the background where the operating system permits.
Locally stored information. Currency preferences and recently retrieved Bitcoin data are stored on each device for use in the App, widgets, and complications. On Android and Wear OS, clear app storage in system settings to remove this data; on Apple devices, delete the App. Data in a separately installed watch app must be removed on the watch.
5. Sharing, sale, and retention
Local preferences and cached Bitcoin values remain on the device until replaced or deleted. The App maintains no user accounts and sends no personal profiles. API requests involve technical connection data as described in section 4.
youcloud does not sell personal data or use API requests for advertising, marketing, or cross-app tracking.
6. Children’s privacy
The App does not ask children or adults to enter personal information. It contains no targeted advertising or behavioural profiling.
7. Security
The App is designed around data minimisation. Bitcoin data is retrieved over encrypted HTTPS connections. No electronic transmission is entirely risk-free.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may grant rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. You can remove local app data as described in section 4. Contact us with questions about technical connection data.

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the App, the law, or our practices change. The current version is always available at this URL. If a future App version collects personal data, this policy and the App Store and Google Play privacy information will be updated before processing begins.
